Problem submitting new threads and replies using IE

For many months I have had to use either my Mozilla Firefox or Safari browsers (or Iphone) to submit new threads or reply to existing threads. When trying to do these while using my IE browser (which I prefer), the message box is not useable.....I can type words into it but when I click SUBMIT nothing happens. Also the message box has a light blue color to it on IE while on the other browsers it is white with blue around the edges.

How can I correct this problem with IE?

rtread, wish I could help you with your questions, but I don't know anything about this. Bill Jmes is our webmaster and hopefully he will get on and answer your questions. Try either emailing him or PMing him. He has been real busy lately with his kids, work and life in general.

Bob.....just found out the problem may just be in my laptop while using IE. I'm on an older computer now using an older version of IE and it works fine. The version on my laptop is for Windows Vista and the one on my old computer is for Windows XP. Now i gotta figure out why. Thanks for helping but this appears to be a me problem.

By golly, I may have found the problem.

In case someone else runs into this problem (posting here using Windows Vista and IE) try going to TOOLS/COMPATIBILITY VIEW SETTINGS and put lonestarbowhunter.com in the appropriate box.
