The TTHA Shows are a very busy time for the LSBA. We set up our youth archery range at each of the TTHA shows and help introduce kids in shooting a bow. We normally run about 1000-1500 kids through each show, as well as some adults that have never shot a bow. We can use many volunteers for these events. Please come out and help if it only for a few hours on one day.

Folks I've helped out the past two years in Houston and let me tell you, you will enjoy every moment. So jump in there and give Brad a hand you won't regret it for one minute.

Well Brad should be set up by now. Hope he has some help otherwise it's going to be a long weekend for him, and a lot of kids are going to miss a oppurtunity to shoot a bow if they have to wait.

Thank God for friends!!

A BIG thanks to Clint Heflin for helping all three days (couldn't have done it without your help)!!! Thanks to Kayde Heflin and my son Luke for helping Sunday! Thank you Dave Frazier for helping setup Friday and working Friday and Saturday!! Thanks Dennis and Denny Meckel and Zoey (Denny's girlfriend) for helping Sat. Thank you Dean Titsworth for offering to drive down for one day!!!!

Next year lets not schedule the State Shoot the same weekend!!! :D

We had the biggest turnout ever and even made it on the local news! I had several people tell me that they heard the radio playing over and over to bring the kids to "shoot a Dinosaur." It was exhausting and we diffidently needed more help but we managed and of course the shouts of joy and the interest of the parents wanting their kids to get involved in anything but electronics make it all worth while!

Here are a few pics, wish I could have taken more but just didn't have the time!!
