VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - June 4th - Cabela's Annual Kid Fest - LSBA Youth Archery Range

Cabela’s in Fort Worth will host its seventh annual free Kid Fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the store.

The focus of the day is to pass “on our outdoor heritage to today’s youth and tomorrow’s outdoor enthusiasts,” Hands-on activities, games and contests — with prizes and giveaways — will be part of the day’s events.


The LSBA has been invited back once again to setup a Youth Archery Range in the store over at the Archery department. Bring the kids out and come see us.

12pm to 2pm

2pm to 4pm


If you would like to help put a bow in a kids hand, let me know what time slot on Saturday you can help out.

We had about 150 kids come through our youth archery range at Cabelas on Saturday. A lot of the parents of the youngsters had seen us on Channel 8 and that's what brought them out to Cabelas for Kid Fest.

Believe it or not, I didn't have a camera with me.
