euro plaques complete!

here are a few euro plaques I finished last week. Still tryin to decide on which stain and clear coat I like. I dont think these turned out too bad. The more I look at the tree bark plaque, the more I like it.

if yall got any tips on which stains to use, types of clear coat. hints. Let me hear em. I am by no means a wood worker. I need all the tips and help I can get!

man those look awesome!!! if/when I get one of those mounts done, I'd like the plaque to be large enough to hold the mount, have a plate with some details about the hunt/harvest and then a piece where I can slip in a pic of the kill.... now that for me would be a dandy presentation!!!
