Pheasants and Flu-Flus - Reschedule

Bringing this to the top. The Pheasants and Flu-Flus IS rescheduled for Saturday March 5. As of today (Feb 24), I have Bisch, Ronnie, Mark, Derrick and maybe Buff. Brad says there are two more on the way, but I've not had any confirmation or received the application/deposits. Bisch told me he's pretty sure he has a guy lined up to take Steve's place. I need to firm this up by March 1, so I can reserve the birds and line up the guide(s). If there's anyone else who wants to come give it a try, just let me know by end of the day on March 1 (Tuesday). I'm going to put some flyers out at the Cowtown Bowmen Trad shoot this weekend and the preserve owner has been playing it up for us too.

Gene Bohannan is going to take Steve's place. I already heve his deposit and am giving it to Steve. Gene lives in Ft Worth so it looks like I will be staying at his house Friday night and we will drive up to Gainesville Sat morning.

The fishing was very slow this year. However, the rented house was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the golf was challenging, the food unbelievable, the rum bottle empty, and the company fun!

I wished this trip did not conflict with the red fish bowfishing trip, as sure would like to have gone on that.

Brad, you are like me.....only better looking...LOL

It was a lot of fun! My hiney was worn out after that day. I'll have more pictures of in-flight arrows after this weekend. I have to go back up there and guide some more hunts and I'll pick up the pictures then.

Don't forget "Sparky" my dog. He had fun too!

Looks like a great time. Congrats to those that were able to connect on a bird with the bow. Hopefully one day I can make this hunt.
