Texas Youth Hunting Program has a bow hunt this weekend and has room for additional youth hunters. This should prove to be a successful hunt for any skilled hunter. The hunter must be 9-17 years of age and have completed Bow Hunter Education. The hunt is at the Kerrville-Schreiner Park in Kerrville (Hunt # 1124). The cost of $110 provides for both the hunter and a non-hunting adult's meals and lodging. Please get the word out to your members and contacts.
To apply hunters must go to www.tyhp.org (http://www.tyhp.org/) , click on Apply here for YOUTH HUNTS (https://www.texas-wildlife.org/tyhp/youthhuntaccount/createaccount.php?step=1), follow instructions and establish an account, and apply for hunt # 1124. Other hunts are available by clicking on the Youth Hunter Button and selecting Hunt Schedule.
