My 9 year old son Zain got his first deer 2 years ago, a big old doe. Last year he scored on another doe, while his older brother got a nice buck. This year he took another doe not far from the house on Halloween, during youth weekend. On the way home he says Dad, when do I get to shoot a buck? I told him since he was three for three on does that I would let him hunt a buck this year.. Well it did not take long. He took this nice 10 point at our lease in Brady one week later on the afternoon of opening day.. I am very proud that both my boys love to hunt as much as me. This is way bigger than my first buck.. We are still trying to get Zach my 14 yo his first bow deer..
