Dickinson War Memorial

I posted last fall about the local Boy Scout building a War Memorial in Dickinson as his Eagle Scout project. I help run a fishing tournament to raise funds for this project and a lot of folks donated to it as well. So I'm very happy to say that this afternoon at 1PM we will be doing the ground breaking to start the construction. I also want to send out a thanks to anyone and everyone that helped in making this project a reality.

Way to go! That's an accomplishment to be proud of for sure! A few years ago I was in on fundraising to get the moving Vietnam Wall to Marble Falls. It turned out good but after a few days....poof it was gone. Yours is permanent!
