Well I got up to my place last Thursday evening in hopes of getting in a few more bow hunts before all the shooting started. I headed to my stand Friday morning early and when I got there I found a limb had fell and crushed my plateform. Did some still hunting, but didn't mess with trying to get a new stand up in the area.
Saturday morning found me in my gun blind and the ole 7 pointer that was smart enough to stay out of bow range, even came in and laid down 40 yards from me one mornig, didn't get the memo rifle season started. It was really too back I can't shoot my bow out of my gun blind, cause he was 20 yards broadside at 8:00am. I couldn't pass up the shot on this ole man.
