It has been very hot, but with this cool snap things are picking up last night my hunting partner saw 8 bucks. It is finally drying up too. I am stuck at work this morning but will be back this evening. Early last week we saw some young bucks pushing doe

I plan on being in the stand monday morning. Hopefully it will still be cool. The skeeters were horrible last wednesday. Good thing I had my thermacell. Our lease was like a swamp. Standing water everywhere. It was a mud hole. I'm ready for the acorns to go away too!

Between Sheridan and Junction, I have hunted a total of 8 days so far this year. I've seen more deer in Sheridan than junction. That was one fat one horned spike. I guess I should have shot him. I aint never went this far into the season with out shootin a deer. I'm startin to have withdrawls. I need my fix of dried up deer blood!!

Last night saw alot of Doe, It is just weird noone is seeing alot of Legal Bucks. There is a 134 that is winning the Big Buck Contest at Migl Feeds
