Sunday morning found Gar Tamer IV on Choke Canyon Lake again. My son Eric and I had Jim Weison aboard to try bowfishing for gar. His hopes were to get a sizable gar for mounting to display in the his shop, Archery Country in Austin.
6 ' 11", 160 Lbs., 38" girth

Boy I wish I could go on one of those trips. Great gar, nice boat also. Guide must be on top of his game.

I've never been bow fishing<but i think i need to try after those pictures.
