The LSBA is hosting another youth hunt at the Grover Abel ranch Oct 30- Nov 1. We will have 4 kids on this hunt. Denny Meckel, Danny Cobb, Jordon Strickland and Joe Roan. Congrats to the young men and thanks to Grover Abel for donating this doe hunt. Tomme will be the LSBA host for this hunt.

Man, what I would do to be young again. A Big Thanks to Grover Abel Ranch for supporting the LSBA with a great youth hunt. Good Luck to all of the young hunters. Bob

Wow, that name brings back memories. My brother took his first archery deer on his place way back when, on a TYHP sanctioned hunt. I didn't realize he was still involved in youth hunts since his place hasn't been on the TWA hunt list in years, I think.

They were probably the only 4 who applied for the hunt. I keep thinking there were between 5 and 7 of us on the TWA hunt.

Dustin due to time limitation the extra Kids that did not get drawn for the first point hunt were selected!!

That's cool. I just didn't see anything posted about this hunt so I was just curious. Wanted to make sure everyone was playing fair. ;)

Danny is excited and shooting regularly down here at the house...gonna surprise him with some new arrows for the trip! ;)

WOW! That's a heck of a great thing right there! I want to see pictures when its done and hear the stories. Sounds like it will be a good time all around.

That's awesome. I love the way our LSBA takes care of the kiddos...makes me want to get much more involved. Good work to all.

Getting close to the end of the month. I think we have two trad shooters and two with compounds. A good mix and hope they all score.
