We've really got a lot of neat things going on in LSBA these days. We just finished a couple of 3D shoots and the Spring Fellowship Hunt at Brushy Hill. We've been at Bownanza, the Aggie Archer's shoot, had a banquet and the magazine is back on track. We had a real successful scoring seminar at Cumby with 7-8 (?) new record book entries and we're trying to get bowfishing going again. We also have a new man working on public relations and we've given some bows to help suppor the troops in Iraq. We've also started a fundraising drive for the Bowhunters Rights Coalition and we've had booths at shows, shoots, and grand openings. I've probably missed some others, but it's hard enough to keep all of this straight.
We've got a lot going on, but LSBA NEEDS YOUR HELP. We currently have three Regional Rep spots open on the EC. If you are a bowhunter and want to give something back to the sport, we could sure use your help. You'd need to be willing to come to 4 Quarterly EC business meetings a year, help out with the banquet and EXPO. Beyond that you are only responsible for what you volunteer to do.
So are there any good bowhunters out there? Give me a call, email me or send me a pm.
