nope, I doubt it. What they need to do is tranq the young dam, remove it and sew the hole shut.

yeah coulda been a shot gone bad. if not that's terrible. i think you can call a game warden and have them tranq. that deer to get the arrow out can't you

Yeah it could have been a shot gone bad and lets hope so!! Just using it to help new and/or young bowhunters to see what can go wrong!!

Brad, it could be the guy did intend for it to punch the head. I think it is well posted. Until I decided to do this euro on my 8 point, I didn't realize how much nothing was in their heads... Bunch of bone and the brain is about the size of a baseball.
I'm just curious if the bots would enter the brain cavity through the wound? Or, do they just stay in the sinus cavities?

It isn't a pretty sight, I think whether it was intended or not it gives bow hunting a bad name (if it happened in RSA) don't know the circumstances there but think its much the same. And I think it gives hunting whether bow or rifle a bad name. Hope they will be able to put her out of her misery in some way.
