I just found out last night that my youngest daughter "Kelby", that a lot of you know, has graduation on the evening of June 6th.

Yes, I know it is suprising that she is graduating as much time as she spends hunting and all...but it is the date that is the problem. That is the night of the banquet.

I tried to convince her that an award for a fallow deer is harder to get than a HS diploma (almost everyone has those)...but no dice. She wants to walk the stage with her buddies, and I am required to be there.

So, early departure from the banquet for me this year. I might be able to stay as late as 6:30 or 7, depending on where the event is held. Very dissapointing, maybe Buff will bid for me on a few auction items if they are the ones he doesn't want.

Congrats again Kelby:congrats: It is not surprising that she wants to walk the stage, heak, you spend twelve years to get there. What is surprising is that she wants you to be there:D. Congrats to you also Mark, you have to be proud. Bob

Thank you guys for the kind words. I find out now that the commencement will be at 3 in the afternoon and not 8 pm. So I may get back for the majority of the evening and just miss the afternoon. Much better.

So I guess this wouldn't be a good time to say what I am going to donate this year at the banquet? :)

I will miss seeing you guys there this year but that diploma is more important!
Congrats Kelby!
