View Full Version : NEED STORIES AND PHOTOS FOR THE MAGAZINE

Hello everyone. I HOPE that by now everyone has received a copy of the last magazine. As some of you know, we've gotten a new publisher and every indication is that they truly want to do an exemplary job. I KNOW because they've called me now numerous times about the quality of some of our photos and ads. That shows me that they're striving for "best" qaulity from the start. I can SOMETIMES enhance what is sent to me, but not everything. I'm asking EVERYONE that is interested, to submit his or her stories and photos for inclusion into the magazine. This is OUR publication, yours and mine. I prefer getting more than one photo per story. I LIKE using three to four photos per story, I think it makes it better. If anyone has ANY questions about submissions, or getting in touch with me, I promise to try to check the website at least every other day. Get in touch with me. I'm sometimes going a hundred-miles-an-hour. But other times, I have time to chat and "talk story."

I'm not sure if my pics are good enough lol but I have some game camera pictures in a different thread on here labeled "Pictures of Deer".

I sent in a story a year ago and got a message back that you might use it in the future. You have not used it, yet I see these send in story messages so, my question is this, if it was unacceptable, please tell me why so that I can improve on the next one. If it was lost, let me know and I can send it in again or something else.

I don't know if it is just me or this has happen with others, but when you send something in and then you see these requests for material, it makes a person wonder what is up. Some feedback would be nice. Good thing I have a huge ego and thick skin. :lol:

Did you get the one I sent through the email system? I never got a reply.

I was hoping to have some kind of dialogue due to some concerns I was wanting to discuss with you about it.
