2009 L.S.B.A. 3D CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


Male/female Bowhunter White Stake
Any style or color bow may be used. A recurve, compound bow or longbow of any color with or without sights. If a sight is used it must be fixed. Sights that use any lens with or without magnification are not allowed. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab, or bare fingers may be used. Any arrow/fletch/.screw in field point . Stabilizer must not be more than 15” in length. Vibration dampers are not allowed (STS Damper or similar). Bow speed is limited to 280 f.p.s plus a 3% varience.

Male / female bowhunter releaseRed Stake
A recurve longbow or compound bow with fixed pins, a lens with or without magnification attathed but not moveable is allowed .any style release any type of arrow with glue in { nib type points }or screw in points are allowed. a stabilizer no longer than 30’’from point of attachment of bow as well as v bars are allowed.bow speed is limited to 280 f.p.s. plus a 3% varience

Male/Female Bowhunter Open Red Stake
A recurve, longbow or compound bow with a moveable sight or scope. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab, or bare fingers may be used. Any type and length of stabilizer or V bar. Bow speed is limited to 280 f.p.s.plus a 3% varience

Bowhunter Novice White Stake
See Male/FEMALE, Bowhunter description for equipment. Once you have won this class one time in a given year or you shoot 300 you will be moved up to Bowhunter Class for the remainder of the year including state shoot. Your points will advance with you.a 300 or higher will not be allowed to win this class No Regional Champion in Novice class. All-Regional Champion in Bowhunter Classes only.

Male/Female Recurve Blue Stake
A recurve bow with no sighting device. A rest and plunger are all that may reside within the sight window. There will be no marking on the bow or bow string that could be construed as a sighting marks. Must be shot with glove, finger tab, or bare fingers.string walking will not be allowed.

Male/Female Longbow Blue Stake
A longbow with no sighting device. A rest and plunger are all that may reside within the sight window. There will be no markings on the bow or bowstring that would be construed as sighting marks. Must be shot with glove, finger tab, or bare fingers.string walking will not be allowed

Teen Traditional (14-17 yrs) Youth Traditional (10-13 yrs) Blue Stake

Teen Compound (14-17 yrs) White Stake
May shoot with any type of equipment or styles as described above. Bow speed is limited to 280 f.p.s.plus a 3 % varience

Youth Compound (10-13 yrs) Blue Stake
May shoot with any type of equipment or styles as described above. Bow speed is limited to 260 f.p.s.plus a 3 % varience

Mini Cubs (9 and under) May shoot from anywhere in the shooting lane
May shoot with any type of equipment or styles as described above.in the case of a bounce out the highest score on that animal for that shot is an 8.

SENIOR { age 55 min } red stake
May shoot with any equipment they choose to have on their bow with a speed limit of 280 f.p.s. plus a 3% varience.
RED STAKE – 50 Yards Max
WHITE STAKE – 35 Yards Max
BLUE STAKE – 25 Yards Max
