Bowfishing

Have not been on a bowfishing trip yet. Does anyone know of an outfitter or a good place to go? Thanks

Eric, go to our links page on the website and look at Extreme Bowfishing. Jack Thatcher is the guide and has been on some of the hunting shows with his boat also. We went with his two years ago and killed 69 fish and some of them were some real nice gar. He fishes from Austin to Falcon Lake. The time to go is around March and April, but we went in June and had a blast. Bob

You have Mark Malfa, Hoopty Bowfishing, Bowfishing Addiction, of course the GarGuys, there are more but those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Last May, I guided Fred Eichler for alligator gar. Although the fishing was much slower than normal, Fred mange to take his first alligator gar. The hunt was aired earlier this year on Easton Bowhunting.
