The club is having work parties all day today, tomorrow, and this weekend in order to get the facilities ready for the Oilman's shoot on Oct. 18. We have rented a wood chipper and we are try to dispose of all the downed tree limbs that have made maneuvering around the range so difficult. We have a few people out at the range right now with chainsaws and they are working on cutting up the trees that were taken down by Hurricane Ike. Most of the flood waters have receded but the ground out on the 3D course is still super muddy so we are having to cut lanes out near the front field course for next weekend. If you have time to go out and help, we would greatly appreciate it. Bring your chainsaws, trimmers, hedgers, mowers, or just your able body and a bottle of water!!

Lucky, sorry to hear that about BAC. A lot of havoc came about from IKE, hope we do not get to see another like that in a very long time. Bob

Thanks Bob. The range was a real mess after the Hurricane and its taken a ton of work to get it back to semi-usable condition. There is still so much work left to be done, so if any one is able to come out and help, please do so. We need all the help we can get right now. Next week, in additional to clearing away debris, we will be out there building bow trees because we lost most of ours in the storm.

Buffalo will be having work parties all this week. If you have time off during the day and want to help, please come on out to the range. MichaelB and some of the other guys are there during the day to finish cleaning up the 3D course. We've rented a wood chipper for the entire week and its being put to good use!! We also have to build some new bow racks because we lost a bunch of them during the hurricane. We need all the help we can get, so if you have the time
please join us.

MichaelB is out at the range today with a generator constructing new bow racks and fixing up the old bow racks that are in dire need of repair. If anyone has time to go out there today, it would be great to get some more help!
