How often does LSBA have hunting trips for member?

Fatman the best answer to this is at least once a year and maybe as many as three or four. For the last five years we have had a combined hog and turkey hunt at Brushy Hill ranch near Sabinal. That ranch is 13,000 acres and we have had anywhere between 20 and 85 on the spring hunt. This years hunt is going to be April 18-20, cost is $150 total for the two day hunt and kids 16 and under can hunt free ($25 bunkhouse fee). We've set a limit of 45 for the hunt and have about 30 signed up so far.
This year we also had a javelina/hog hunt in February at First Point and we are sponsoring a FREE kids deer hunt at First Point in October (this hunt is thanks to the generousity of Mike and Nancy Palmer of First Point). If you have a youth hunter and are interested, check for details on the home page.
In the past, from time to time we have also had summer hog hunts and fall and winter deer hunts, but part of that depends on member interest and whether someone on the hunt committee can afford the time and money to go and head up the hunt.
In addition to what is listed above, I encourage all LSBA members to set up informal fellowship hunts together but these have been the "official" ones.
Thanks for asking.
