Anyone shooting the DAS or Dalaa recurves? I would like to hear your thoughts. The idea of being able to use ILF limbs. It is interesting as there are so many available and the good ones are top performers from what I hear.

I hear a lot of good about them. The only bad is the "Its not traditional" nonsense folks like to spew. I think if you've shot and liked the old bear 76ers or just about any 3 piece recurve, you'll probably like the DAS, WARF or DALAA. Go for it.
I prefer 1 piece, straight handle (or almost) longbows myself.

Losthawg,
I did get a Dalaa and my perceptions so far are:
* Although a metal riser, still lighter than most wood riser T/D bows I have had
* Very, very quiet
* Assembles without tools, very handy
* speed as good as the better bows I have owned
* accurate, I have shot my best ever groups with it
* I like the high wrist grip fine but think I would have liked the low wrist one better

Chris, sounds like it might be suitable for you. I personally have a problem with high wrist grips (typical of recurves) because of an old injury.
I think its a big plus to not have to carry any tools to camp with you.
The fewer working parts the better for me. ;)
I think the only thing I like about 3 piece bows is how easily they are to transport. Space savers for sure. If I ever break down and buy a bike, I might have to get me a Great Plains 3 pc longbow though. They're okay. :D
