Hello Bowhunters
The teacher next door to me, a 26 year old mother of one has been found to have kidney cancer that has spread to her spine. Her name is Jodi Esquivel and she is in M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, where today she will find out can and will be done to combat the cancer. Her husband is a teacher/coach at Port Neches HS, and is a bowhunter. She is more worried about the possibility of losing their house that they bought this past summer, because she is determined to defeat the cancer. She is a great person to be around and the 8th graders she teaches think the world of her. The kids have taken it apon themselves to collect change at lunch to pay the house note, and in just two days they have collected more than $1000!
