I need some help. I have waited til the last minute to try and setup a rifle hog hunt for my son's birthday this weekend. I was thinking Howie at HuntnShoot but as it looks now, they are booked for this weekend.
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced hog ranch just for 1 day somewhere in East Texas close to me here in Conroe?
My wife is breathing down my neck... :spank:

You can pay $45 for an annual fee, and hunt the Sam Houston National Forest and get all the hogs you can handle!!!
I'll give you directions on where tons of them are :)

I would bgo to public land if it wasn't deer season this weekend.
Dena,
Thanks for the info. I have called Langley a couple times today and left a message. Nothing yet. I am sure they are booked.
Hopefully Howie can squeeze us in at HuntnShoot... ;)

Tx, rumor has it they have hogs there.

Thanks Howie. I called Nate and Langley but no answer. I left a message.
It isn't looking good for this weekend. Maybe I should try to schedule something for the next few weeks.
Thanks again.
If you want to bring him to Mason I will let him shoot a doe

I would take you and him on my place but the opening day of deer season is pretty close and we dont'wont to bother the deer .I have another spot I could take you on but it is a night hunt it is all pecan orchards and open fields. We always kill hogs on it though. There have been some real trophy hogs taken from both properties. How old is your son?I dO have pics of animals taken from both properties if I could just figure out how post them.A guy I took last week took a nice 280 lb. boar with about 4and1/2 inch tusks.
